Luis Schiumerini is a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
His research examines political behavior and representation in new democracies, and is forthcoming in Perspectives on Politics.
Luis is working on a book manuscript that combines fieldwork and experimental methods to examine why incumbency provides an electoral advantage in some Latin American democracies and a disadvantage in others.
Luis earned a Ph.D. in political science from Yale University and a B.A. in Political Science from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
